Professional Audio and Broadcast Sales

About the role:

tm stagetec systems are seeking a pro audio and broadcast sales specialist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for relationship building to ensure we develop new opportunities in both the broadcast and professional audio markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop new sales opportunities
  • Maintain and manage key business relationships
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts
  • Compile and present monthly reports including forecasting, insights and industry trends
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of all products, services and systems offered
  • Assist with tenders and proposals

About you:

You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge in professional audio and broadcast systems with excellent communication skills and follow up, as well as the ability to manage your own tasks and close deals. You will be a highly driven and experienced sales professional with an aptitude and passion for sales and a strong aspiration for developing new opportunities with at least 5 years of sales experience.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to liaise with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Professional technical audio and broadcast knowledge.

Casual Junior Audio / Technical Engineer

About the role:

tm stagetec systems is seeking a junior audio / technical engineer to join our growing team. The role includes work both in our office and onsite configuring, testing, installing and commissioning audio systems. The role includes assisting our experienced engineers and contractors during the entire project cycle. This role will often involve direct contact with our engineers, clients, logistics and project management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Testing and configuring equipment.
  • On site installation and commissioning.
  • Assisting Project and Support teams with engineering tasks.
  • Building racks and cabling systems.
  • Assembling equipment.
  • Learning!

About you:

You will have an intermediate understanding of professional audio systems including IP based technologies like Dante. You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge with IT including Windows Desktop/Server, network switching and routing, WiFi and other enterprise systems. The ability to learn and implement highly technical systems is a must.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Minimum tertiary education for professional audio, IT, A/V or similar.
  • Some networking and telecommunications knowledge.
  • Well organised, methodical and accurate, with outstanding attention to detail.

Project Manager – digital PA

About the role:

tm stagetec systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager with advanced audio and IT knowledge to join our growing team. The role includes working both in our office and working onsite with our clients to ensure projects are delivered to the high standards we are known for. You will be responsible for working closely with our clients, as well as 3rd party contractors during all phases of our projects, including development and documentation, installation, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the successful design, planning, delivery and implementation of projects on time, and to specification.
  • Customer facing role, responsible for coordination of all resources assigned to the project, including third party contractors.
  • Plan, schedule, monitor and report on the status of milestones and all key elements of the project to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiate and undertake meetings with key stakeholders to inform of project status, risks and issues, and to obtain direction where necessary.
  • Support clients with troubleshooting, general design, hardware and software support questions.
  • Demonstrate that project objectives have been achieved to client requirements and manage a smooth handover to external operational teams.

About you:

You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge with both Audio and IT systems (minimum of 2 years’ experience). Exceptional communication skills are a necessity, as well as the ability to develop strong and lasting client relationships. The ability to manage your own tasks and take initiative will also be highly regarded.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years professional audio and technology / IT.

ICT Systems Test Engineer

About the role:

tm stagetec systems is seeking an experienced ICT Systems Test Engineer to join our growing team. The role includes work both in our office and working onsite with our clients to ensure projects are completed to the high standards we are known for. The role includes assisting our engineers and contractors during the design, testing and installation of systems. This role will often involve direct contact with clients, reporting and a minimum of Level 2 technical support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Level 2 technical support (Hardware, Software and Networking)
  • On site installation and commissioning of systems
  • Managing client communications
  • Creating and updating technical documentation
  • Manage, monitor and develop Windows server environment
  • Develop and write test plans
  • Administer and manage the storage environment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network based services: File, Print and Email
  • Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot windows software deployments
  • Develop and provide training and technical documentation for ICT Team members
  • Experience in enterprise ICT environments

About you:

You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge with IT support (minimum of 2 years’ experience) with Windows Desktop/Server, Cisco, Ruckus, APC as well as other enterprise devices. Excellent communication skills are a necessity, as well as the ability to develop strong and lasting client relationships. The ability to manage your own tasks and take initiative will also be highly regarded.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Networking and communications knowledge with a Bachelor of Computer Science, including CCNA or similar.
  • Well organised, methodical and accurate, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Enterprise products
